YAYAYAY Christmas is almost heeeere!
And here I come, again, with my random contribution to it
yes, you're probably staring at this and thinking what's wrong with me.
I just can't help myself, really.
You guys might still remember that dog picture I did of Van Gogh. Well, since that, I've been really into impressionism. Like, really, a lot.
And studying about the life of Monet, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, Gauguin, Emile Bernard, Pissarro, but mostly Van Gogh (naturally) made me have one of those terrible impulses I have every time I like something too much: transform. Everyone. Into dogs.
So yes, it happened.
I did a whole "Doggie Artists" Christmas decoration in my room, and this was one of my favorite pictures xD
Toulouse-Lautrec is the little terrier leading the sleigh, obviously having fun with his scared friends, Van Gogh and Gauguin, who are right behind him.
And Gauguin's parrot. Because he's like a pirate. So he needs the parrot.
Take your time and read about those artists some day. I was impressed by how intriguing their lives were! It's like reading fiction, you know? Specially Van Gogh and Gauguin! And you know whats even more awesome? They all knew each other, and some of them were really close friends, like the trio in the pic!
pure awesome sauce, even if some of those relations sometimes ended in the worst way
Anyways, enough blabbing xD I hope you guys have an awesome Christmas this year!!! (tho this is not yet my last Christmas pic!) Done with Faber Castle color pencils. While listening to my favorite Christmas song! [link]
