Well, they're back! xD But now, Dikon is not anything near dead
I don't know if you remember either, but I was still working on a title for their story when I did that other picture.
But it's funny, I always listened to the song Blue Blood, by foals and I see an amazing story flashing before my eyes. (lol I know the next time you hear about this song you're gonna kill me! xD) but seriously now, my story
is what the song is all about. It's something amazing. That's exactly why I like this song so much.
In the future, I'll probably work in this comic (after OMFA, of course). But firstly, next year, when I go to animation school (I truly hope this happens) I'll make the a short film for this song.
I always listen to music when I draw. It's just something I can't help myself with. And my mind usually ends up going wild. By that, I mean it creates images that I had never, ever thought of. That actually, no one has. Music is something truly powerful, believe me. And since I'm all about emotion, I just can't live without it!
But it rarely creates a whole story. I mean, only very fragmented scenes, (of very cool ones, by the way) but never something that has a beginning and an ending. And this song... was the first time it happened. And it is wonderful..
About the DrawingThis is probably the most different drawing in my whole gallery. I know the background is a bit of a fail, but still, it was supposed to be some kind of cave, but halfway made of energy.
I never had the courage to draw any of the scenes that come to my mind when I listen to Blue Blood, but one day, I knew I would have to. Too bad this doesn't look half as beautiful as it looked in my mind :s
If you are curious, this scene happens in my head from 1:27 to 1:33 in the song. And both Amy and Dikon are running towards this light, Amy running in front, and Dikon struggling to keep up.
I decided to name the story Blue Blood, because it's the most perfect name for it,
ever. I've been thinking about that for almost the whole year now, and I never noticed that the rightest title was just bellow my nose! xD
You would agree with me too, if you knew the story!
