Insubordination

Hey-oh dear friends!
It's been a long time… again!

I've been working really hard on Up and Ahead comic pages lately, but school always seems to get on the way (specially because all the group work always falls on me. On me!) besides, time always finds new ways to run away from my hands.

But anyways, I also need to keep the art coming!
So here is Hank, one of U&A's most important characters, during a very typical scene of his daily life with the Desert Scorpions. Hank never truly agreed with any of the attitudes nor the beliefs which the band followed and many times showed deep insubordination towards the orders of Vernon, the leader (who's standing in the middle, with them shinny eyes ). Vernon is an Anatolian Shepherd who is immune to scorpion venom. He hunts for the most deadly scorpions in the desert, and when he has just enough, he takes their tails off and drinks their poison. He hardly ever bites, but when he does, it's deadly, no matter how small the wound he caused is. He is one of the most dangerous living dogs around. They say his eyes shine on florescent green because of the poison running through his veins.

But I shall explain that better once his sheet is out!
Tho I intend to stop flooding you guys with characters which will only appear later on the story. Vernon belongs to the second adventure.

Ben stood very still, his body as taut as a bowstring as he pulled all effort into one task.
The scent.
As an American Foxhound he was quite good at his job. His long white snout almost digging into the ground looking for the scent. They had been searching the plains for three days now. Their quarry couldn't have gone far.
Hank looked at the rest of the gang in the cool shade of some rocks; they were thirsty and tired from their search. Vernon had only sent four out to deal with the foxes; they had been stealing in towns across Gold Marrow for a couple of days. Vernon didn't like foxes.
"Like?" Hank thought. All that laughing and jok
It has 10 parts so far, but the way he represented the characters is simply outstanding! I strongly recommend it, he is an excellent writer! *clicks on her own link and starts re-reading it*

I'll be working on U&A's pages, until I reach the 10th, and then… The comic shall be published! (still on the 5th tho… *dies*)
