Gender: Male Breed: Beagle ([link]) Age: 4 years and a half (31 in human years) Size: aham.. 36 cm (1.18 feet) Nicknames/Aliases: His most popular nickname is Martiny, but anything connected to small works too. Little Martin, Shorty, Tiny… Function: Writer
Personality: Arrogant, selfish, vain and most of the time depressive. Martin can only think of one thing: himself. He always thinks his problems are bigger and worse than everyone else's, and has an irritating habit of constantly showing self pity. He is always unhappy, unlucky, and nothing is ever good enough. According to him, the only thing that keeps him slightly satisfied is writing. He loves writing horror stories, suspense, or very tragic dramas. He also likes to keep a journal, where he writes his everyday misadventures. Martin has a visible self image disturbance, as he sees himself as a super handsome guy, and also (strangely) thinks he's very funny. He hates to be mocked over his height, and can have sudden explosive reactions when this happens. But most of the time, Martin acts like a coward. He is a bad fighter, and hates to be involved in conflicts where he's clearly in disadvantage. He hates the outdoors, and can't stand the heat. On the other side, Martin is extremely intelligent, and can come up with the most brilliant solutions to problems (specially when his own neck is at stake). Even thought he's usually stubborn about changes, he is very capable of coming through and somehow, adapting.
Background: Martin has no brothers nor sisters. He never had friends either, and grew up all alone with his already old parents. He was very spoiled during his puphood, because his mother was too tired to argue or educate him properly. Every time he wanted something, he would make a scandal, and it would be given to him. Eventually, his parents grew older, and they couldn't afford all Martin's needs anymore. He was then forced to find a job to help them keep their rent, and went for what he taught to be his "Natural gift". He became a comedian. Every show he made, was a bigger disaster. He made the creepiest jokes possible, and couldn't understand why his public wouldn't laugh. He then conformed himself with the thought of being a "Misunderstood Genius", until the day he made the wrong joke with the wrong dog. His name was Ramon Keller, and he was the leader of the most dangerous gang around. Martin got into the worst trouble he could possibly imagine, and had to leave his city after being shooed away by his mad public and Ramon's gang. He hid in a wagon, and traveled a long and tiring way until he finally reached Colorado.
Relations:Steban assumed him as his comrade, but Martin hates when he is around. He enjoys the company of Edgar, the inventor, and seems to enjoy flirting with Margaret, the saloon's owner (even thought everything he ever got out of this were painful punches in the face).
Very interesting character sheet!
