Yay Inkheart fanart!!!

Oh! how I missed drawing that!
It's been such a long, long time I don't draw these characters!
Yes, Basta and Dustfinger! Even those who haven't read Inkheart series must know them from a little comic I did a while ago, "Inkvalentine" [link]
yup, that disastrous little comic! xD I believe you guys remember it!

But anyways, there are no characters who were more a part of my life than these two, seriously I just love every scene with them in the books!
So yeah, your classic scene between Basta and Dustifinger: Dusty pissing off Basta by stealing his luck charm, and running away with it xD
I kind of redesigned them: I made Dustfinger look more like a fox (which, in my opinion, is the animal which fits him the best. Even the author herself compared him several times with one!) and Basta has new colors now the only thing I'm still not happy about are his front legs (Basta's arms are actually covered in burns, but I couldn't reproduce that on a dog! )

And when you come to think about it, they act pretty much like a dog and a fox during the whole series!
