Personality: Steban is big dreamer. Driven by his thirst for adventure, he roams the west trying to set all the wrongs right, using a very particular kind of logic and rightness sense. He cannot stand injustice, and may act impulsively in the most dangerous situations. He is very friendly and noble-hearted, and always has the best intentions, even if circumstances show otherwise. He loves making new friends, even with the strangest creatures. He suffers from a serious case of wanderlust, and loves to be on the move. Steban is very naive, and that isn’t hard to notice. Although he tries to act overconfident at all times, he is just a very awkward fellow. He is very clumsy, specially while fighting, making him an easy target to be made fun of, but thankfully, he’s well armed with a sharp tongue. Besides his cluelessness, Steban has a very strong will, and doesn’t let anything bring him down. He is witty, and can be very cunning when it comes to improvising, and loves a good disguise. He prefers action over talking, and his optimism has a weird way of making things work out fine for him in the end. His strange luck covers up for his lack of ability. 

Background:Born in another city, away from the west, Steban is the 3rd son of a family of booksellers. His father was very intelligent and valued culture more than anything in the world. He, unlike the rest of his family, enjoyed being outdoors, where he could run free and live his own adventures, but he could never stay long enough. One day, Steban found a book about the adventures of "cowdogs", and for the first time, he found himself. As expected, the idea of him becoming a western pioneer wasn't very well accepted by his family. One day, after a very hard (and even aggressive) argument, he decided to leave his home and travel to the unknown lands of his dreams, by hiding himself in a cart with the west as it’s destination.

The west was a lot tougher than Steban had predicted. He tried to go back home many times, but he couldn’t. Traveling from town to town, he ended up getting into some serious trouble with a wanted gang, but a mysterious dog saved his tail. Later on, he introduced himself as Joseph. They spend a long time together, and Steban learned a lot with the old dog, but their friendship drastically ended after a bad incident, which made Steban leave once again. After getting lost in the desert for two days, he arrived in Gold Marrow, nearly dead, and was luckily found by Warren, who took him in and gave him a place to stay. Now, Steban found some sort of stability, and tries his best to achieve what he set himself out to: set all the wrongs right, and fight against injustice.

Relations: Brother of Darren (older), Mitchell (older) and Theodore (younger). Son of Eric and Christina. His best friends are Hank, Martin (at least he thinks so) and Faye. He doesn't have any love interests yet.
