Personality: Steban is a very overconfident guy, but with a noble and open heart. He has a special taste for danger, and is probably one of the biggest trouble-lurkers the world has ever seen. He can't stand injustice, and is capable of doing absolutely anything to make things right. He usually acts out of impulse, but mostly out of naivety, making him look like an easy target for his enemies. But that's where they are mistaken: Steban has the weirdest kind of luck. Because of his positiveness, things always seem to work out for him (which happens to cause a lot of envy in other dogs). He is very brave, and never back off from situations, no matter how fishy they may seem. Any friend of his is like family. Due to his open heart and lack of barriers, he can become friends with almost anyone or anything. When he is not persecuting trouble, he is a very laid-back lad. He enjoys a good laugh and loves to sleep in the afternoon with his hat on.

Background: Born in another city, away from the west, Steban is the 3rd son of a family of booksellers. His father was very intelligent and valued culture more than anything in the world. When he was a pup, Steban was taught the ways of his family. The only activity well seen there was reading. No playing around, no making noises. During lecture times, he normally couldn't concentrate, and would always get reprehended by his older brothers. He, unlike the rest of his family, enjoyed being outdoors, where he could run free and live his own adventures, but he could never stay long enough. One day, Steban found a book about the adventures of "cowdogs", and for the first time, he found himself. As expected, the idea of him becoming a western pioneer wasn't very well accepted by his family. He spent a long time trying to prove himself to his father, and always failing. One day, after a very hard (and even aggressive) argument, he decided to leave his home and travel to the unknown lands of his dreams, by hiding himself in a cart with Gold Marrow as it's destination.

Relations: Brother of Darren (older), Mitchell (older) and Theodore (younger). Son of Eric and Christina. His best friends are Hank, Martin (at least he thinks so) and Faye. He doesn't have any love interests yet.
