Steban's Epic Search for a Decent Design - HELP!

This will be moved to scraps soon! But I need your help first!

Sooooooo... Steban is having identity problems again! xD
There seems to be a great amount of people believing he still looks like Charlie (what a repetitive problem... -_-) and that truly gives me headaches. I've already spent hours trying to come up with something different for him, and even thought absolutely none of his color lines match Charlie's, (not to mention his character), I'm still getting the annoying comments. And as I said before, no matter how much I change his hair, his muzzle, his eyes, any german shepherd in my style WILL look like him.
It's ok! You guys have all the right to express what you think (tho writing "He looks like Chaaarlie" and running is a very primitive way of doing it ._.)
But ANYWAYS!!! Here's what I could come up with. I'm happy with it, but I NEED your opinion before making it official.
AAAAND if you have any design ideas for him, please, do share! It will be most appreciated!!!

PS: OH!! and also, tell me which one do you prefer, and if he still looks like Charlie with the new markings.
