Yaaaeh I'm backs.

I'm sorry for not being able to update anything in the last days (weeks). I've been sick to death, and I'm only being able to stand on my feet now, so yeah, I truly couldn't be doing much :C (oh goodness, my inbox…)

butanyways! I'm now introducing to you a new, never seen before, character from Up and Ahead!:iconlawooplz:
well, never seen before, but heard of! Meet Medora, Faye's adorable cousin and Jenkins' partner =D

I shall post her character sheet as soon as I finish writing about her, but basically, she's the "never amused" kind of character. She has a sarcastic, husky voice, and never, ever expresses any kind of feeling besides deep boredom (kinda like Margaret, but bad, really bad!)
The only time her temperament drastically changes is when she meets her cousin.
All Medora really wants is to bring Faye down. She would give anything to see her suffering, even her own life (which basically, is what she's doing)

But besides her tense moments, she'll be mostly a comic relief
Medora got together with Jenkins for having similar objectives, but they don't get along at all!

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this! :)
The background… was a aeftdfytedff to make. The original drawing took me a whole day to paint, but the photoshop file somehow corrupted and I couldn't do anything besides starting it all over again.
I'm half dead after finishing this and still not satisfied x(

but I still hope you like it, somehow!
thank you for everything!!!

Somehow those two remind me of Nina and Anna Williams from the Tekken series.

Hi skailla! I'm new here, but I'm a huge fan of your art and have been browsing it for a long time and just decided to get a deviantart account! You are amazing! Your shading is spectacular and the anatomy is fantastic! I really want to draw and post my art on here, but I need help first. I was thinking you might be able to help me. The big questions I have to ask are 1) what program do you use to draw 2) what device do you draw on and 3) which programs are compatible with dA? Please respond! I really need help!

The first thing that I noticed, besideds the stunning artwork of course, was the added detail of dust! :D
Dust is an element often forgotten in desert scenes and I'm just giddy that you added it into this piece. It looks like dust was not only disturbed by the lovely salukis but by perhaps wind? The darker clouds in the upper right corner give off the impression that a storm had just passed, that maybe a wind is pushing the storm as well as dust in that direction. Or perhaps I'm looking into it to much. ^^; Either way those effects make the image feel more real. Which is something most of your artwork gives off. One of the many reasons I enjoy your art so.

Now on to the Salukis, they are both done very well, I love the "Oh no you don't! " expression on Medora and Faye's "You gotta be quicker than that" glance. Beautiful shadows and lighting. Something keeps grasping my attention, their tails. I know salukis have this curl in their tails but because both Medora and Faye are in motion wouldn't their tails be a bit less curled in these positions? But they're just drawings so I guess it doesn't matter does it? Lol. xD

Beautiful piece, my friend. I can't wait to read more about Medora. :3
