alright...

first of all, I'm really sorry for this.

I know many of you must be sooooo exited to watch this movie, "Alpha & Omega", but I just can't help myself, I'm so upset!
since I joined DA (in 2005, in the account :devlittle-gray-wolf) I have only seen a few wolf comics and stories (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay fewer than today!) and only about Alpha wolves, all mighty and powerful, full of magical skills and shiny wow stuff. so here I came, with my little OMEGA character Wolpy, a total looser, and worked on his story with all my strength and will.

alright, the prob is not actually the fact that the main character of the movie is the first omega (after Wolpy) I've ever seen in a wolf story, its actually that I'm getting ready for disagreeable comments like "OH you TOTALLY copied that movie 'Alpha and Omega'!!!" and yeah... its quite annoying, knowing that OMFA is 5 years older than this little movie.

but the thing that upsets me that most is the story. I mean, when Hollywood finally notices the great amount of wolf-addicteds in this world, they give us THIS. Come on, I could guess the whole storyline only by watching the trailer!! its so cliche... :/
and the graphics could be WAY better, considering the latest improvement on 3D technology.
the characters development is very weak too, following formulas.

I don't like this, and I just can't take 3D movies anymore!!! WHERE IS THE TRADITIONAL ANIMATION IN THIS WORLD?? they were the BEST!! watch Balto for example, then we talk.

but at least, all of this have a good point. I can still make an OMFA movie and it will be original, since I plan on using the traditional animation. at least thats my dream...

I'm sorry once again if this made you feel offended.
but whatever. I still like it somehow, I'll watch the movie too. IT STILL SEEM FUUUNNY!!!

PS: I'm not going to reply the comments on this deviation. I want you guys to tell me what you think, your opinion.

The main reason why that movie pissed me off is it seemed like the "omega" role would be exaggerated. Omegas aren't the lowest in the pack. They actually hold special privileges such as getting organs from hunted prey which is usually reserved for the highest members. They also serve as tension relievers in difficult situations in the wild. They're the sort of "clowns" of the pack. Anywho, I didn't watch the movie and I don't plan on it. :U

I only liked Kate. Lilly was ok but everything else is pure annoyance. Plus I am pissed that the plot turned out similar to yours. I am a huge fan of your series and I would pay money big time to see it made into a feature film. Humphrey's a perverted creep and seeing this movie several times Ive noticed its nothing but subliminal sex jokes for an hour and a half. And you made a great point, its so cliche. Now bear in mind I was a HUGE fan of this movie, and yes I was one of those guys who got pissed if you said it sucked. But now ive come to realize how bad it truly is. And whats worse is that there is talk of a sequel. This should be a stand alone movie really, and it will just create more butthurt rabid fanboys to deal with. Oh and another thing with this movie is its fan base. The fans (Most of them but not all) are very irrational and butthurt when it comes down to this movie. A perfect example is on Fanpop.com, there is a club dedicated to this movie. It gets trolled constantly because the fans get butt hurt and its nothing but wolf sex and shitty edits. Anyway, keep up the good work and don't give up on your dream, I belive I will one day see a theatrical poster for this film and I will take my friends to see it.

This is the first time I'm seeing your work, and I love it. Though I did like Alpha And Omega, I thought it could have been so much better. I love your characters so much better, and you have a great style. The animation in A&O was no so good. I've seen so much better. Have you made your movie yet? I so want to see it. Loved Balto!

I love Alpha and Omega but I have to agree the CGI animation is crap why couldn't they make it more realistic like Alvin and the chipmunks (yes the chipmunks are fully animated characters)

I like realistic 3D. Like The Legend of the Guardians - The Owls of Ga'hoole and Happy Feet (oddly made by the same people.) But traditional is way better when it comes to cartoonish.~

Totally agree with you! I hated that movie. Your art style is so much better than the art that was in that movie; I would much rather to pay to watch an animated version of your comic! For the record, I don't see any resemblance in the plot of OMFA, and Alpha & Omega other than that the main character is an omega.
